This is Jody’s first American CD after a period away from the music recording business, where he spent most of his time on his ranch in the California desert.

Jody is one of this country’s finest musical storytellers and songwriters, as we know, from his multi-million selling single “Endless Sleep”. 

Jody was popular during the era of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran and Buddy Holly. Whether writing about love, everyday life or tragedy, Jody is a unique writer with a humanistic touch.

Al Casey, Jimmy Bryant and Les Paul rejoin Jody Reynolds on several of the selections on this CD. The fifty-three recordings on this collection date back to 1958 and span Jody’s career through 1980. The songs on this CD are comprised of Pop-Rock, Country and Rockabilly. Jody Reynolds will always be remembered as the singer who projected the essence of “Teardrop Rock”.
